Kemeling Kunststoffen develops, produces and supplies a fixed assortment of certified HortiTanks (1 to 30 m3) for liquid fertilizer to installers in the horticultural sector. When used indoors, a HortiTank has a design life of no less than 20 years and can be recycled afterwards. The HortiTank BS is especially suitable for nitric acid.
Certification
HortiQ (NL): The HortiQ certificate is specifically aimed at greenhouse farming, and is a guarantee that clear procedures and criteria have been laid down and are being observed. The HortiTank is delivered as standard in accordance with the HortiQ (ISSO 87) requirements, which can be found on Kemeling's certification page.
Vlarem II (BE): You can also choose to have the HortiTank produced in accordance with the Vlarem II certification. Vlarem stands for 'Flemish Regulations on Environmental Permitting', and these guidelines apply in both the Belgian horticultural sector and industry. You can find these guidelines on Kemeling's detailed certification page.
BRL-K21009 (PGS 31): Kemeling has been certified by KIWA for industrial applications. This guideline concerns the storage of chemicals in above ground pressureless, welded, single-walled thermoplastic tanks. You can find the guidelines of this certificate on Kemeling's certification page. This certificate does not apply to horticulture. HortiQ (NL) or Vlarem II (BE) is the right alternative for this.
