VLAREM II certified technical plastic chemical storage tanks

For some time now, Kemeling has been certified according to VLAREM II. This standard includes guidelines for the storage of hazardous substances in tanks for the Belgian market. Kemeling has a prototype approval certificate for single-walled and double-walled round tanks made of HDPE100 sheet material. This certificate guarantees Kemeling's quality and craftsmanship. During the development and production of the tanks, there is an objective and verifiable working method by means of clear procedures and criteria. After production, each tank is provided with an identification plate and a declaration of conformity, making the tank always traceable. After installation of the tank, the control body inspects the entire installation by means of a commissioning inspection and is certified if the result is good.

What are the different applications for single wall and double wall tanks?

Part of a VLAREM II installation is a certified storage tank and any collection container , which we can design, manufacture and supply for you. Like normal storage tanks, our sump trays have a design life of 20 years when used indoors and can then be recycled.

What are the possibilities with a technical plastic storage tank for chemicals?

We produce chemical tanks from 1 to 30 m3 where the material of the tank is tailored to your application. These round VLAREM tanks are produced from double-walled HDPE material. We regularly manufacture custom technical plastic tanks for the storage of hazardous substances and chemicals, such as sulfuric acid, caustic soda, ferric chloride, ferric chloride sulfate, hydrogen chloride, sodium hypochlorite, calcium chloride, urea, etc. We realize these projects in cooperation with officially certified installers, suppliers and transporters and to the full satisfaction of our customers.

What are the different applications for single-walled and double-walled tanks?

All companies that fall under the Activities Decree (BARIM) and store chemicals are legally obliged to have the storage installation installed under certificate BRL-SIKB7800. Part of this installation is a certified storage tank and collection container that Kemeling Kunststoffen develops and produces. You can find the guidelines of this certificate on Kemeling's certification page.

A part of such an installation is a certified storage tank and possible collection tray according to the BRL-K21009, which we can design, produce and deliver for you. Like normal storage tanks, our sump trays have a design life of 20 years when used indoors and can be recycled after that.
