Technical specifications
The 3D design of the tank with a capacity of 100 to 20,000 litres is calculated for dynamic use. Connections for filling, venting, draining etc. are included in the design in consultation with the customer. The tanks are manufactured from UV-resistant HDPE material which is highly resistant to water and extinguishing foam. The tanks are welded according to the DVS standard and then tested for leak-tightness (certificate available on request). In addition, the material has a lower specific gravity (0.95 gr/cm3) than steel (7.8 gram/cm3) and composite (1.5 - 2.0 gram/cm3), which makes the tanks easy to install. Moreover, the material is low-maintenance and completely recyclable. Kemeling has realised several projects in cooperation with leading fire brigade bodywork manufacturers to full satisfaction.
