Collection containers on behalf of cans and barrels

General information

The drip boxes for cans and barrels have been specially developed by us to catch leaks at the cans or in case of spillage of a medium. The drip boxes are produced from PE-100 material in our own factory. We can build drip and collection boxes for you in different sizes. However, you should be aware of mandatory instructions that indicate that the storage facility must either have a containment capacity of at least 110% of the contents of the largest packaging or a containment capacity of at least 10% of the contents of all stored substances under which it is placed. Attention: the largest value counts!

Suppose you have one 150 liter barrel, five 75 liter barrels and four 50 liter barrels. A combined quantity of 725 liters.

• 110% of the contents of the largest packaging = 110% x 150 liters= 165 liters.

• 10% of the contents of all stored substances = 10% x 725 liters= 72.5 liters

Because the greatest value counts, the drip box must have a collection capacity of 165 liters.

Characteristics of the HDPE drip/sump boxes are:

• Liquid-tight

• Produced from 8 mm 100% HDPE material in the colour black

• Applicable on the ground or on a pallet

• Available with or without GRP grid

Optional

A GRP grid is a grid mounted on top of the drip box on which you can place your cans and barrels up to a weight of 1000 kg per m2, giving you more collection capacity available. In the case of a drip box without a GRP grid, the barrels or cans are placed in the drip tray, so that any space can be lost.
